We’re proud to offer a two-year warranty from the date of purchase to cover manufacturing defects that may impact the durability and functionality of your item. Our warranty reflects our commitment to creating products that are not only beautiful but built to last.
In the unlikely event that we’re unable to repair an item covered under warranty, we’ll replace it with a product of similar value. Please note, the replacement item may differ slightly in color or texture due to natural variations in leather.
What’s Covered Under Warranty:
Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship which may include the following:
- Hardware Issues: Broken buckles, rivets, or other metal components.
- Stitching Problems: Stitches that unravel due to a manufacturing defect.
- Structural Defects: Tearing or separation of leather seams.
We’re dedicated to making things right. If your product encounters any of these issues, we’ll repair it free of charge.
What’s Not Covered Under Warranty:
Our warranty is designed to protect against defects impacting functionality, but it doesn’t cover wear and tear, cosmetic changes, or damages from misuse. Exclusions include:
- Regular Wear and Tear: Includes natural aging, fading, stretching, and patina development.
- Surface Marks: Minor scratches or scuffs that occur with daily use and contribute to the unique appeal of vegetable-tanned leather.
- Color Changes: Natural darkening and patina formation due to the organic nature of the leather.
- Improper Use: Damage from overloading, exposure to excessive moisture, extreme temperatures, or harsh cleaning agents.
- Accidental Damage: Incidents like crushing, animal bites, or deep scratches from keys and sharp objects are not covered.
Shipping Costs
- During Warranty: We’ll cover all shipping costs associated with approved repairs or replacements within the two-year warranty period.
- Post-Warranty: After the warranty period, shipping for repairs or servicing will be the customer’s responsibility.
After-Warranty Servicing
Once the warranty period ends, we’re still here to help. We offer affordable post-warranty servicing, covering repairs, touch-ups, and conditioning treatments to keep your Leather Hut product in excellent shape for a nominal fee. This service extends the longevity of your product, so it continues to be a reliable, stylish companion.
How Servicing Works:
- Reach Out: Contact us via email or Instagram with a description and photo of the issue. We’ll assess the item’s condition and provide a cost estimate for repairs.
- Shipping: Post-warranty, shipping charges are handled by the customer.
- Repair & Refresh: Our leather experts will repair and condition your item, giving it new life, and we’ll notify you once it’s ready for return.
